Kalyan Ram Madabhushi

Kalyan Ram Madabhushi, 57, is an accomplished CEO and Board Director with 35 years’ experience in running global businesses for Royal Dutch Shell (28 years) and Aditya Birla Group, India (6 years) in multi-regional & multicultural environments, predominantly based out of Singapore (1995-2006), Europe (2006 to 2017), Mumbai (2018 to 2024).

 In his most recent roles during and post Covid, Kalyan headed two large industry sectors as CEO namely, Chemicals/ Power Insulators and Forestry, Cellulose Wood Pulp/ Sustainable textile fibers and fashion.

Currently at Advisory & Supervisory Board level, Kalyan serves as a

• Member of Board of Directors with Circulose AB, Sweden (Textile waste to Fashion) and Altor Cotton TopCo AB (Swedish Private Equity-PE), Sweden.
• Board Director- Geodesic Holdings, Singapore and
• Founder/Director- Rypll BV, The Netherlands.

Also as an Angel investor, Kalyan has encouraged and promoted 10 early-stage start-ups from diverse applications (Satellite technology, Electric Vehicles, Waste heat recovery, Retail, Sustainable Agriculture, Safety equipment, etc).

PERSONAL

Kalyan holds an MBA specialized in International Business and a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, in addition to executive leadership programs at IMD Switzerland and University of Oxford.

Personal details: Family & Home in the Netherlands (Den Haag- Leidschenveen). Enjoys classical music, reading, farming and badminton.
