Gagan Kaur

Gagan Kaur is an international business development and stakeholder engagement professional with 20 years of experience across banking, insurance and higher education in Asia and Europe. She specialises in senior-level stakeholder engagement, strategic partnerships, ecosystem relationship management, marketing and new market development.

 She holds an MSc in Business Administration, specialising in Strategy & Organization, from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam; a Master’s in Business Management, specialising in Marketing and HRM, from Asia Pacific Institute of Management, New Delhi, where she graduated as a Gold Medallist with Distinction; and a BBA from Panjab University with Distinction, ranked 2nd in Panjab University.

At Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, Gagan works within International Relations, focusing on South and East Asia, partner engagement and international cooperation. She is also a Voluntary Representative on the UNESCO Liaison Standing Committee of WCCES, contributing to global education diplomacy and multilateral engagement.

Her professional focus is on opening new markets, building long-term trust-based relationships and connecting people, institutions and ideas across sectors and cultures, with a strong interest in inclusive growth, female leadership mentoring and India-Netherlands collaboration.
