Mr. Vijay Gangadin, a business administrator, obtained his Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Portsmouth, England, and completed his PhD in Business Administration (Dr) from Los Angeles, USA. His specialization is within the field of risk management, with an emphasis on risk appetite. Gangadin teaches this subject at institutions such as the University of Amsterdam. As a founding partner and chairman of the strategic consultancy firm AethiQs, he is actively involved in consultancy issues for socially relevant organizations.
In addition to his academic and professional involvement, he fulfills important positions within various organizations. For example, he is chairman of the APNA foundation, chairman of the Surinamese-Dutch Chamber of Commerce and he holds the position of chairman of the board at OPEN Rotterdam (local public media).
